The BDIF is designed for wholesale clients only. To qualify as a wholesale client, an investor must have a certificate from a qualified accountant stating that they have net assets of at least AUD $2.5 million or a gross income of at least AUD $250,000 per year for the past two financial years.
The BDIF employs a rigorous 10-point methodology focusing on network metrics, token and project analysis, market data, macro and external factors, user engagement, partnerships, scalability, ecosystem development, market demand, and financial stability to select investments.
The fund charges a management fee of 1.5% per annum, payable monthly in arrears, and a performance fee of 7.5% on the increase in net asset value per unit, subject to a high watermark. This fee structure is designed to align the interests of the investment manager with those of the investors by rewarding successful fund performance.
